Watering Your Lawn

Want to water your lawn like a pro? 💦🌱 Here are some tips and things to remember:

Q: What is the best time of day to water your lawn?

A: between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. The best time to water grass is in the early morning, between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. This is because the temperature is cooler, which means that the water is less likely to evaporate before it can be absorbed by the grass.

Q: What are the best/least expensive method of watering?

A: Sprinklers

Q: How much should I water?

A: On average, grass only needs about an inch (2.5 cm) per week. That's about 10-15 minutes of watering.

Q: Is it better to overwater or underwater lawn?

A: Overwatering your lawn is actually worse than under-watering because it will cause more damage. An under-watered lawn will struggle and die, while an overwatered lawn will not only kill off your lawn, but can also ruin the soils underneath.
